House rules and policies
A few simple rules so everyone sleeps well and feels at home.
- Check-in is at 2 pm and check-out is at 12 noon. If you need to check out later, please tell our staff in advance so we can check availability and any additional fees.
- All guests must present a valid government-issued ID at check-in.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of the hostel, including rooms, hallways and bathrooms. Violations result in a fine of ₱1,000.
- Noise: please keep noise to a minimum after 11:00 pm as a courtesy to other guests.
- The hostel is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property, including valuables left in rooms or common areas. Please keep your belongings secure and properly stored at all times.
- Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to hostel property during their stay. Damages will be charged to the guest's account.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to, or end the stay of, any guest who violates our policies or behaves in a way that is disruptive or offensive to other guests or staff.
- Payment and cancellations: direct bookings require no deposit and are paid in full at check-in. Direct bookings and tours can be cancelled free of charge at any time; please let us know as early as possible. Bookings made through third-party booking sites follow that site's cancellation policy. Booking changes are subject to availability.
- Visitors: rooms are for registered guests only. Visitors are allowed in the common areas only and must leave by 11:00 pm.
- No food in rooms: to keep rooms clean, please don't eat or drink inside them. Use the common areas for meals and drinks. Violations may incur additional fees.
- Force majeure: Wild Monkeys Hostel is not liable for failing to meet its obligations under these policies due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of war, government restrictions, strikes or pandemics. In such events we may modify, suspend or cancel bookings as necessary, and will make reasonable efforts to assist affected guests.
- Privacy: we collect and use your personal information only to provide our services. We may share it with third-party service providers who help us provide those services, or as required by law. We take reasonable measures to protect it, keep it only as long as necessary or required by law, and you may access and correct it at any time. We may update this policy from time to time.
